Kelly Company, Incorporated is a business that has emerged, through four generations, as one known for its timely work and careful attention to quality.
The ability to attract experienced and knowledgeable engineers, estimators, project managers and craftsmen over the years has enabled us to carry on with our basic philosophy, which is to complete a job honestly, on time, and with excellence in craftsmanship.
Joseph F. Kelly founded this firm in 1927 after working as a superintendent on the original Yale Bowl Project. Eighty years later, his grandchildren and great grandchild successfully completed a $12,000,000 concrete restoration project on the very same structure.
Through the years, the family business has evolved, adding modern management, state-of- the-art construction practices, precision pricing, and broad capabilities as critical elements of the services provided. We have built long standing relationships with owners, architects, construction managers and subcontractors through our commitment to every project we work on.
The Kelly Company has left its imprint in the New Haven area. It is impossible to pass a Yale building or a local landmark that the Kelly Company has not renovated or constructed.
The Kelly family supports their community in providing jobs, the establishment of scholarships at area schools, involvement in youth activities and financial support of charitable and civic organizations.
